Braga handed Benfica their first defeat of the season 2-1 in the eighth round of the Portuguese football league at the AXA stadium.
Andeson Talisca opened the scoring for Benfica in the second minute following a pass by Eliseu Sunday night, reports Xinhua.
Striker Eder scored for Braga in the 28th minute from a pass from forward Pardo and Salvador Agra secured Braga's victory in the 81st, with a right-footed effort.
Benfica remain top of the Portuguese league with 19 points, ahead of FC Porto.
