The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday said it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) for exchange of information on unemployment and consumer sentiments in the country.
The BSE said the information would be shared and published by PHDCCI on its website, and mailers and reports circulated to its members.
"This MoU between BSE and PHDCCI would enable the students, faculty of PHDCCI and BSE training institute (BTI) to effectively co-operate in different areas of research," Ashishkumar Chauhan, the BSE Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said in a statement.
This is expected to be useful not just to students and research scholars but also to the country at large, according to Chauhan.
