The Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday recovered a quantity of heroin valued at Rs.10 crores near the international border in Jammu and Kashmir's Jammu district, police said.
"BSF troopers recovered heroin valued at Rs.10 crore in R.S.Pura sector. The contraband recovered had been smuggled from across the border into our side," a senior police officer her told IANS.
"Some arrests have been made in this connection and an FIR has been lodged," said the officer, adding that more arrests are likely as the investigations progress.
