The budget session of Jharkhand assembly will begin from January 17, 2018, said an official on Tuesday.
"The Jharkhand cabinet gave its approval regarding the budget session of the assembly to begin from January 17 and it will end on February 7," an official told reporters here.
The Jharkhand government is likely to table the 2018-19 General Budget on January 23.
Jharkhand was the first state in the country which tabled its 2017-18 General Budget in January 2017.
Meanwhile, the Jharkhand cabinet on Tuesday gave approval to more than one dozen proposals.
The decisions include installation of solar street lights from legislators' funds and implementation of 'gift milk scheme' to curb malnutrition in the state.
