Burglar lynched in Ghaziabad

A mob lynched a burglar here early on Monday when he was trying to rob a house, police said.

The incident occurred in Amit Vihar in Loni town when the burglar was caught red-handed by residents after someone raised an alarm.

The man was thrashed by the mob till he became unconscious. He was then taken to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.

"We are investigating the circumstances in which he was caught and lynched," Superintendent of Police R.K. Pandey said.
