While his Tamil production venture "Ethir Neechal" reaped gold at the box-office, Tamil actor Dhanush's second production, "Kaakkaa Muttai", went on floors here Saturday.
Dhanush will produce the film under his home banner Wunderbar Films.
"Wunderbar films 2nd venture in association with Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Films "kaakkaa Muttai" shoot starts today," Dhanush posted on his Twitter page.
The film will be directed by Manikandan, while G.V. Prakash Kumar has been roped in to compose the music.
The rest of the cast is being finalised. The film also features a host of kids in important roles.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is awaiting the release of his Hindi debut "Raanjhanaa" and Tamil drama "Mariyaan". He is currently shooting for upcoming Tamil comedy "Naiyaandi".
