Spain's Carla Suarez has reclaimed her position in the top-10 of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) world rankings after reaching the Madrid Open quarterfinals here while Serena Williams continues to lead the pack in this week's rankings.
Following the Madrid tournament, the rankings have stayed mostly unchanged, aside from Suarez's move to 10th place and German Andrea Petkovic moving to ninth, despite her withdrawal here due to illness, reports Efe.
Czech Petra Kvitova, who won the tournament, is fourth while the other finalist, Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova, moved up 11 positions to 18th.
