Over 100 underprivileged children will participate in the Christmas revelry here in The Kids Carnival beginning Saturday.
The two-day carnival is being organised by Genius Kids School in association with Save The Children (NGO) and Sai Shikha Charitable Trust.
"It will bring together over a 100 underprivileged kids with other children. We aim to do away with the differentiation and discrimination," chairman of the carnival committee Vikash Singh told IANS.
At the event, to be held at Jatra Suru Sangha club ground in Garia, children will be given scholarships, books, clothes, and other stationery items.
"There will be contests, shows, health camps and cultural programmes. Above all they will be part of all fun and frolic associated with the holiday season," Singh said.
