Real Madrid football club coach Zinedine Zidane on Tuesday said his Brazilian midfielder Casemiro underwent a medical test to confirm the exact state of his recovery and found that the fracture in his leg has not yet healed.
Casemiro underwent a new radiological test to know the exact state of his injury after surprisingly being named in the Brazilian national squad for the World Cup qualifying matches on November 10 and 16 against Argentina and Peru, respectively, reports Efe news agency.
Zidane revealed that the news at the moment is not good and the player should continue with the first phase of recovery.
"He is still in the recovery process. We are lucky and hope he will get better every day. He is confident but not recovered yet," Zidane said.
