"Gippi" director Sonam Nair's next untitled project has been in the news over the casting for the film. The movie's co-producer says that the cast has not been decided so far.
According to reports, Pulkit Samrat was supposed to start shooting for the film, co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Balaji Motion Pictures. But the actor is said to have backed out.
Balaji Motion Pictures' CEO Tanuj Garg said the news is false.
"No one was confirmed or announced to begin with so there is no question of anyone being thrown out or walking out. We will announce the cast once it is formalised," Garg said in a statement.
The comedy will reportedly go on the floors early next year.
