The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Monday questioned two railway officials in the case relating to bribery for appointment of a senior railway officer to a lucrative post.
"Two officers have been questioned today (Monday). The investigations are on," CBI sources told IANS.
Pawan Kumar Bansal was dropped as railway minister after the name of his nephew Vijay Singla surfaced in the case.
Singla was allegedly paid a bribe of Rs.90 lakh by Railway Board member Mahesh Kumar for being appointed to the post of member (electrical).
CBI has arrested nine people including Singla and Mahesh Kumar, who has been suspended from the board, in the case so far.
