CBSE declares Class 12 results

The Central Board of Secondary Education Monday announced the results for Class 12 board examination with overall pass percentage seeing an increase of 1.91 percent.

The overall pass percentage is 82.10 percent, compared to 80.19 percent last year.

Chennai zone shone, with the highest pass percentage of 91.83 percent.

Girls performed better than boys again, with the pass percentage of girls being 87.98 percent, compared to 77.78 percent of boys.

A total of 9,44,721 students appeared for the examinations this year.
