Mobile phone maker Celkon Mobiles on Thursday said it will launch its manufacturing facility at Medchal near here next week.
The leading smartphone player announced that its its state-of-the-art facility is all set to be inaugurated.
The unit will begin with four production lines and will eventually enhance its capacity to higher levels, the company said in a statement.
"Celkon has invested heavily in training its manpower and is all set to start production," said the statement without revealing the investment figures.
"We are very pleased to be one of the first companies to unveil our plans in setting up the manufacturing unit, this unit will greatly boost ourAability to meet the demand for our game changing products as well ascontribute to the overall 'Make in India' revolution promoted by the government of India," said chairman and managing director Y. Guru.
