The 2016 Thomas and Uber Cups will be held in Kunshan, China, at the Kunshan Sports Centre.
Badminton World Federation (BWF) president Paul-Erik Hoyer made the announcement after its Council meeting here Wednesday. The other city to bid for the biennial event was Jakarta which lost out to the Chinese city.
The prestigious event was held in India for the first time May 18-25.
In another announcement, the BWF said the 2015 World Junior Championships will be held in Lima, Peru, at the National Sports Village.
