A chopper with five people aboard heading towards Delhi from Lucknow had to make an emergency landing near a village here, an official said.
The chopper landed on a small cricket ground near Kadarpur, eight km from Gurgaon city.
It was not immediately clear to whom the chopper belonged and who were the people onboard. The reason for the emergency landing was also not confirmed.
An official source said the pilot tried to land the chopper in the CRPF campus in Kadarpur, but permission was denied.
A CRPF official said the chopper landed around one km from the campus.
IANS tried to call Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner T.L. Satyaprakash and Commissioner of Police Navdeep Singh Virk, but they did not respond.
