"American Pie" star Chris Klein has announced that he is expecting his first child with his wife Laina Rose Thyfault.
He announced the news on his Twitter account, reports OK! magazine.
He tweeted a photograph of his pregnant wife, lovingly holding her stomach while standing next to some flowers.
"My beautiful wife Laina and I are expecting our first child. 23 weeks along. Gratefully blessed on my 37th birthday," he tweeted.
The 37-year-old is best known for playing Chris 'Oz' Ostreicher in the "American Pie" films.
