Actress Christina Hendricks believes the key to a successful marriage is "to say yes" and listen to the husband's point of view.
The "Mad Men" actress has been married to Geoffrey Arend for six years and always tries to understand his point of view in an argument because she respects his opinion, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Hendricks told Red magazine: "One thing I've realised with my husband is if something's not going right, you need to stop and really look through their eyes because there's a reason you fell in love and they're not trying to be mean.
"You need to stop and see what they're seeing because it's important to them and you respect them. Really listen. And learnt to say 'yes' more than 'no', sometimes they want to hear 'yes' and that's fine."
While Hendricks is accommodating to Arend's needs, he is just as "supportive" of her.
"He's amazing, he's like my biggest supporter. He's very protective," she said.
