A CID team of West Bengal Police on Monday visited the house in Siliguri in West Bengal's Darjeeling district from where a huge quantity of explosives was seized from three Nepali citizens two days back, police said.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) team collected samples from the house.
Meanwhile, police and other security agencies are interrogating the three arrested Nepali citizens to find out how they procured the explosives and who were the intended recipients.
"The Intelligence Branch and Military Intelligence personnel are also taking part in the interrogation," a police source said.
As many as 609 gelatin sticks, 200 detonators and 640 metres of cordex cable were seized from the three men near Darjeeling More under Pradhannagar police station jurisdiction on Saturday night.
A Siliguri court later remanded the accused to police custody for seven days.
Police arrested one of the three accused Krishna Prasad Adhikari on a tip-off near Darjeeling More on Saturday night.
Following his interrogation, Dawa Shering Gurung alias Lama and his wife Puja Gurung were picked up from a house in the neighbourhood.
The security agencies were trying to ascertain whether they have links with Nepal's Maoists or insurgents active in India's north-eastern states, or if the explosives were meant to cause disturbance in the Darjeeling hills.
