The closed bid for Hockey India League's (HIL) second edition will take place here Friday.
HIL chairman Narinder Batra said the bid would give the franchisees the chance to buy new players to replace permanent withdrawals and complete their squads.
"The base prices for the players vary from $2,600 to $25,000. Ninety-five Indian and 59 overseas players from 14 countries have made themselves available for the bid," said Batra.
The inaugural season was won by the Ranchi Rhinos while the second season will be played from Jan 25 to Feb 23.
