The national capital experienced a cloudy Wednesday and the maximum temperature settled three notches above the season's average at 37.3 degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to remain similar on Thursday, the Met Office said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Thursday). There is no forecast of rain," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 36 and 27 degrees.
Wednesday morning was sunny and humid and the minimum temperature settled at 27 degrees Celsius.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 85 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum was 27.0 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
