CNSI to increase headcount in India

US-based business solutions provider CNSI will be increasing the headcount at its Indian centre by 275 employees, the company said.

In a statement issued here Wednesday, the company said it plans to add an additional 275 employees, bringing the total number of headcount at its Centre for Technology and Innovation (CTI) located here to 600.

"To accommodate this expansion, CNSI will more than double CTI's location capacity by adding an additional 37,000 square feet to its current site, bringing the total space to 62,000 square feet," the company said.

CTI is the research and development unit of CNSI in India. During the past 10 years, CTI has transformed itself from an information technology development centre into CNSI's flagship centre for innovation, the company said.

Work at CTI is focused on developing solutions around analytics and big data, cloud business services, new product innovations, and mobile solutions that address many challenges in the health IT industry.

"CTI has been integral in developing the cutting-edge technologies that have brought CNSI to the forefront of the industry.We are keen to continue investing in our Chennai-based operations to further tap into the world-class talent available here." C.K. Kumar, managing director of CNSI's India operations, was quoted as saying in the statement.
