Fluminense has confirmed that Argentine midfielder Dario Conca will return to the club next season.
Conca, who left the Rio de Janeiro outfit in 2011 to join China's Guangzhou Evergrande, has agreed in principle to a three-year deal worth $300,000 a month, reports Xinhua.
"I hope to return and do the best I can for Fluminense, giving something back to the fans who have given me so much," Conca said Sunday.
The 30-year-old was a key member of the Fluminense team that won the 2010 Campeonato Brasileiro and is still feted by the club's fans.
Earlier this month, he helped Guangzhou Evergrande become the first Chinese winners of the Asian Champions League with a 3-3 away goals victory over FC Seoul.
He is expected to rejoin Fluminense following next month's FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco.
