A local court here on Thursday refused to grant anticipatory bail to a journalist who was facing rape charges.
Additional Sessions Judge Smita Garg dismissed the anticipatory bail application of Luit Neil Don, observing that the allegations against him were serious in nature, Sudhir Ray, the victim's lawyer, said.
The prosecution claimed that in February 2014, Neil Don, who is on the run, called the complainant on the pretext of arranging a job for her and raped her.
The victim, who is also a journalist lodged a case against him in west Delhi's Rajouri Garden police station in January 2016.
