A court here Tuesday asked the Delhi Police to file a report on a complaint seeking registration of a case against Shiv Sena MP Rajan Vichare for allegedly force-feeding a railway employee, on fast during Ramadan, at the Maharashtra Sadan here.
Metropolitan Magistrate Akash Jain asked police to file an action taken report by Sep 10 on the complaint filed by social worker Kamran Siddiqui.
Siddiqui and his lawyers Kamran Malik and Vishal Sinha told the court that the alleged victim is a contractual employee and he cannot file a complaint but they being public spirited individuals, have filed the complaint on his behalf.
The complaint has sought filing of a first information report against Vichare under various sections of the Indian Penal Code including for promoting enmity between classes, voluntarily causing hurt, wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation.
