Court to consider coal block chargesheet against Pushp Steels July 1

A special court on Thursday fixed July 1 for considering a chargesheet filed in a coal block allocation case allegedly involving Chhattisgarh-based company Pushp Steels and Mining Pvt. Ltd. and others.

Special Judge Bharat Parashar posted the matter for July 1.

The Central Bureau of Investigation on May 20 had filed a fresh chargesheet in the case.

A case was registered against the company and its officials in April 2013 under various section dealing with criminal conspiracy and cheating.

The CBI had said that the company allegedly misrepresented facts while applying for coal blocks.
