Teams from Cuba and the US will meet on Friday for their first friendly kickboxing event in Havana.
Low kick and K-1 rules will apply at the event, Xinhua cited the organisers as saying.
Eric Gutierrez, an official from the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Inder) said that the event will include 10 fights with three rounds of two minutes per fight under weight categories of 57, 60, 63.5, 67, 71, 81 and 91 kgs.
The president of the World Association of Kickboxing Organisations (WAKO) Charles Post, from the US, will lead the US team, one of the best in the world.
Cuba's coach will be president of the National School for Kickboxing and Related Arts on the Caribbean island, Armando Quintana, who said that the duel will be "a great show."
