Washington, Feb 6 (IANS/CMC) Trinidad and Tobago athlete Kashef Daniel has equalled his country's record for the men's high jump at a college meet in the United States.

Daniel, representing Arkansas State University, cleared the bar at 2.15 metres on his second attempt to enter the Trinidad and Tobago record books, alongside Kevin Huggins, reports CMC.

Huggins established the 2.15m record back in 2007.

Daniel finished second in his event at the Indiana University Relays indoor meet.
