The Delhi government on Thursday opened 200-bedded Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital in Ashok Vihar for treating dengue patients.
"200-bedded new Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital at Ashok Vihar opened for dengue/fever patients today (Thursday)," Health Minister Satyendar Jain wrote on his twitter handle.
The government on Wednesday fixed Rs.600 as the maximum any private hospital can charge for dengue tests.
Dengue has claimed at least 16 lives in the national capital, even though official toll is five.
