Veteran defender Eliseu Pereira dos Santos has renewed his contract with Benfica until the end of the next season, the Portuguese football club announced on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old is set to complete his fourth season at Benfica having joined the club in 2014 from La Liga side Malaga, where he spent six seasons, reports Efe.
At Benfica, he won three titles in the Portuguese League, a Portugal Cup, two Portuguese League Cups and one Supercopa de Portugal.
The defender has appeared in 25 games with his national team and scored one goal.
Eliseu won the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament in France with Portugal.
