Delhi has over 1.3 crore voters

Over 1.3 crore are eligible to vote in the upcoming polls to the Delhi assembly, the Election Commission said here Monday.

The national capital, which has 70 assembly seats, is likely to hold elections in Feburary.

The poll panel said 1,59,854 new voters were added to the electoral list, taking the total to 1,30,85,251.

Of the total, 72,60,633 are male voters while 58,24,618 are females.

In the last assembly polls in December 2013, there were 1.19 crore voters.
