Delhi shuttler Rachita Sahdev qualified for the women's singles main draw of the $120,000 India Grand Prix Gold at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium here Tuesday.
Rachita won her first qualifying match 21-5, 21-13 against Meenu Singh in 18 minutes following which she got a walkover in the second and final qualifying round to make her way into the main draw.
R. Santoshi Hasini, Sanchali Dasgupta and Shruti Mundada were the others girls who also earned their entry.
In the only men's doubles qualification match, Bennet Antony and P.H. Suraj produced a 21-13, 21-19 win over Shlok Ramchandran and Sanyam Shukla in 27 minutes.
The main draw matches start Wednesday.
This tournament is the season's first GP Gold event.
