The sky remained cloudy on Thursday with parts of the national capital receiving light rain and the maximum temperature fell two notches below the season's average at 33.4 degrees Celsius.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city received 1.2 mm of rainfall between 8.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.
The Met office has forecast more showers on Friday.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Friday) and parts of the city may get light rain," an IMD official said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 32 and 23 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Thursday morning saw light rain and the minimum temperature settled at 25.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 92 percent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled one notch below the season's average at 35.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled three notches below the season's average at 24.8 degrees Celsius.
