Delhi to host gender-based violence film fest

A two-day film festival focused on gender-based violence will be held in the national capital from December 11.

The American Center and Cinderbaar have collaborated to host the film festival, a statement said.

The festival will comprise a series of powerful films featuring Hollywood actresses like Jodie Foster, Charlize Theron, Whoopi Goldberg, Oprah Winfrey and Angela Bassett.

The films featured at the festival will be: "The Accused", "North Country", "The Color Purple", "What's Love Got to Do with It" and "Safe Haven".
