A 20-year-old Delhi University student committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan here, police said Wednesday.
The body of final year B.Com student Damini was found by her father inside their house in Krishna Nagar area of east Delhi around 11.30 p.m. Tuesday.
She was taken to a hospital where doctors declared her dead.
A suicide note was found in her possession that said her lover wanted a car in dowry.
