Actor-filmmaker-singer Dhanush on Sunday launched "Koova", the first single under Gautham Vasudev Menon's Ondraga Originals, aimed at promoting independent music.
"Happy to launch Gautham Menon's Ondraga Originals' first single 'Koova'. Loved the music and vocals. And great choreography by Satish. Enjoy," Dhanush tweeted.
Menon, who directed Dhanush in "Enai Noki Paayum Thota", felt he was the perfect fit to launch the new track on the digital platform given his success with "Kolaveri di".
"He put a Tamil song on Hindi radio stations. The song jettisoned across the world. He is the reason we take our 'views' so seriously.
"A phenomenal actor, multi-faceted, singer, songwriter, producer, director. Ondraga Originals' first single released by Dhanush. Privileged," tweeted Menon.
"Koova" is a first in a series of songs, originals and independent of films under the banner.
