Actress Hina Khan, the main lead of the popular TV show "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai", says she didn't know the nuances of acting when she was signed for the show and regrets not learning it.
"I didn't learn acting from anywhere. I think it's because of luck that I landed up in TV. Even after that I had to do a lot of hard work," Hina told reporters Tuesday at the convocation programme of ITA School of Performing Arts here.
"It was more difficult for me when I began acting and straight away I had to perform," she added.
Hina has been in the show for four years and won many awards for her portrayal of Akshara.
"I never got to learn," she rued and added: "But you (students at ITA) are lucky. At least you know the basics of acting, while I was nil in that."
