Director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, popularly known as Raj and DK, will debut as producers in the Hindi film industry.
The duo's D2R Films has partnered with Eros International to co-produce films. Their first venture will be crime-thriller drama "Farzi" for which actors like Shahid Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui have been roped in.
"'Farzi' is one of our favourite scripts and we can't wait to work on it. Eros have always supported our vision and we are very happy to partner with them to produce films together," the director duo said in a joint statement.
Sunil Lulla, managing director of Eros, said: "Tying up with Raj and DK enforces our commitment to make more content driven films. After collaborating together on 'Go Goa Gone' and our forthcoming 'Happy Ending', we are excited about 'Farzi'."
