Veteran director Vamsy will join hands with actor Raj Tarun, who is basking in the success of latest Telugu hit "Cinema Choopista Maava", for the sequel to his 1985 Telugu comedy "Ladies Tailor".
The sequel, which is expected to go on floors soon, is titled "Fashion Designer" with the caption "Son of Ladies Tailor".
"Vamsy really liked Raj Tarun's performance in 'Uyyala Jampala' and 'Cinema Choopista Maava'. He felt he'd be perfect for the sequel to 'Ladies Tailor' and roped him in. The film will be produced by Madhura Sreedhar," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Senior actor Rajendra Prasad, who played the lead in "Ladies Tailor", will be essaying a key role in the sequel.
The rest of the cast will be finalized soon.
Vamsy, 58, is known for delivering memorable Telugu films such as "Anveshana", "Chettu Kinda Pleaser" and "April 1st Vidhula".
