Actress Divyanka Tripathi, who turned 31 on Monday, has taken a break from work to spend her birthday with her sister here. She says the time out was pending since long.
The actress, who has become a household name with her character Ishita in the TV show "Ye Hai Mohabbatein", added that she deserved a break after shooting some intense action sequences for the Star Plus show.
"My elder sister stays there. I really needed this break after doing high-intensity drama scenes in my show. I look forward to spending some time with only family and closest friends," Divyanka said in a statement.
Her dream birthday bash is having a party with Bollywood's Khan trio - Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.
She said: "If I ever throw a birthday bash, I would like to invite all the three Khans of Bollywood and party with them."
It has been a good year for Divyanka, who enjoyed her share of fame on small screen courtesy her TV show. And the actress hopes the good luck continues.
"It has been a hunky-dory year and way forward I'll be celebrating my new life with this New Year. Wishing and hoping for a lot more success with a variety of work in the kitty," she said.
