A documentary titled "I Am: Heath Ledger" is being made on the life of late actor, who tragically died in January 2008 -- months before the release of "The Dark Knight".
Being made by cable network Spike TV, the documentary is to tackle Ledger's story as the next subject of its documentary series "I Am", reports aceshowbiz.com.
It will release in May, and will reportedly feature the inside look at the life of Ledger as told by those in his inner circle.
Ledger's stories will be the third subject to be tackled in the channel's "I Am" docu-series. Earlier, Bruce Lee and "Saturday Night Live" star Chris Farley were taken as subjects for the first and second subject.
Ledger died at the age of 28 on January 22, 2008 from an accidental mixture of prescription drugs.
He is mainly known for his famous role of supervillain Joker in "The Dark Knight" for which he received the Best Supporting Actor trophy at the 81st Academy Awards posthumously.
