Dollar changes hands in upper 104 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The US dollar changed hands in the upper 104 yen zone early Wednesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 104.73-75 yen compared with 104.62-72 yen in New York and 103.00-02 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

The euro fetched $1.1059-1060 and $115.83-84 yen against $1.1055-1065 and 115.82-92 yen in New York and $1.1109-1111 and 114.42-46 yen in Tokyo late on Tuesday afternoon.
