Actor Dominic Purcell says he shares a close bond with his "Prison Break" co-star Wentworth Miller as they "understand each other's rhythms".
Purcell and Miller will reprise the roles of brothers Lincoln Burrows and Micheal Scorfield in the new season of "Prison Break".
"Wentworth and I, first, we're very close as friends. And it's more of a brotherly kind of friendship. We don't need to be in each other's pockets. We understand each other's rhythms," Purcell said in a statement issued on behalf of Star World.
He added: "Wentworth's a very private guy. I'm private, not as private. But you know, we don't get in each other's spaces. There's just this implicit trust as people, first, and that carries on onto the screen. You know, people often talk about the chemistry between us on screen, and I think those are the life elements that translate onto the screen."
Talking about his equation with Purcell, Miller said: "It was great to work with him again. Somewhere in those first 81 episodes, he became my brother, pretending that he was my brother made it so. And when I work with him now, we can crank through a scene twice as fast as when I work with anyone else.
"We just have a shorthand. And that kind of connection that is both personal and professional, I now recognise that to be exceedingly rare and something I hold to be sacred."
"Prison Break" was aired from 2005 to 2009. The season five of "Prison Break" will go on air on Star World and Star World HD in April 2017.
