Germany international Sven Bender will be out of action for 10 weeks owing to a groin injury, Borussia Dortmund said on their website.
Dortmund's injury crisis continues as Bender joins his teammates Neven Subotic, Ilkay Guendogan and Jakub Blaszczykowski on the injury list, reports Xinhua.
The Germany international suffered an inflammation of the pubic joint in his side's 0-3 loss to Hamburg, an examination by team doctor Markus Braun revealed Sunday.
Bender will be ruled out for around ten weeks, according to doctor Braun.
