Former wrestler and actor Dwayne Johnson's will be seen in new action thriller "San Andreas".
The movie from New Line Cinema and Village Roadshow Pictures reunites Johnson with director Brad Peyton and producer Beau Flynn, following their collaboration on the global hit "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island", said a statement.
The movie is set in California and is about a rescue-chopper pilot who makes a dangerous journey across the state to rescue his estranged daughter after a massive earthquake.
The production will start in the coming week and the film is slated to release in June, 2015.
The film also stars Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, Archie Panjabi, Hugo Johnstone-Burt and Art Parkinson.
