City football giants East Bengal on Wednesday confirmed Trevor James as their new head coach for the upcoming Federation Cup.
The 59-year-old replaces Biswajit Bhattacharya, who a few days back mailed his resignation to the club authorities.
"We have appointed him (Morgan) as the head coach for the Federation Cup. We will discuss his tenure after he arrives here," club secretary Santi Ranjan Dasgupta told reporters here.
This will be the second stint for Morgan who had earlier coached the outfit during 2010-2013.
Under the Englishman, East Bengal had earlier won the Federation Cup in 2012. Morgan is presently the assistant coach for Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Kerala Blasters.
