On the night before his much-awaited concert here on Sunday, "Shape of you" hitmaker Ed Sheeran partied away with Bollywood's who's who, including Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan and Shahid Kapoor.
A British singer, songwriter and music producer, Sheeran was dressed casually in a checked shirt teamed with camouflage pants and a pair of spectacles at the party, organised by Bollywood choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan on Friday night.
The social media accounts of a host of celebrities from Bollywood are splashed with photographs and videos from the party. In one video, Farah is seen shaking a leg with Sheeran on "Shape of you".
"Life is great when Ed Sheeran loves the shape of me," Farah tweeted along with the video.
The star performer kept his date with India as part of his Divide Album Asia Tour, despite his widely covered injury in an accident.
The concert, in association with BookMyShow and PR Worlwide, will be held at Jio Gardens, Bandra-Kurla Complex. It is in support for his third studio album "÷ (divide)", which released in March through Asylum/Atlantic Records.
The party for Sheeran also Malaika Arora, Mira Rajput, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon, Bhumi Pednekar, Aftab Shivdasani, Patralekhaa and Neha Dhupia in attendance.
Bhumi tweeted: "Oh yah!!! Fan girl moment with Ed Sheeran. Thank you Farah Khan for such an amazing.You're the best."
Raj Nayak of Colors wrote: "'Come on now, follow my lead. I may be crazy, don't mind me'. Thank you Farah Khan for being the 'perfect' host that you always are and for a rocking party last night. The hangover still continues. I can see the 'Shape of you' with Ed Sheeran."
Aftab also said he had a "great evening" and wished Sheeran a "great" concert.
Farah's brother and actor-filmmaker Sajid Khan wrote: "Trust my sister Farah Khan to throw the party of the year with the star of the year Ed Sheeran who is extremely sweet and humble."
Neha, who attempted a selfie, wrote: "A world famous musician stuck with a dissatisfied selfie clicker... Thank you Ed Sheeran for your music, more importantly for your patience! Fan girl."
Sheeran is yet to post anything on social media on his India visit.
