Two-wheeler maker Eicher Motors Ltd on Wednesday said it sold 48,604 units last month, an increase of 37 per cent over sales logged in May 2015.
In a regulatory filing with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company said it sold 35,354 units sold in May 2015.
Eicher Motors said it has sold a total of 96,801 units between April-May, 2016 as against 69,272 units sold during the comparable period the last fiscal.
