Four troopers and four civilians were injured on Wednesday when militants hurled a grenade at a CRPF unit in Jammu and Ksshmir's Anantnag district, police said.
"The target appears to be the road opening party of the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force)," a police officer told IANS.
The injured were shifted to a hospital and the area was cordoned off for search operations. No group has owned up responsibility for the attack.
