Former Real Madrid and Brazil international forward Julio Baptista has received offers from clubs in China, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar, his agent said on Saturday.

"We are waiting, there is still nothing confirmed," Xinhua quoted Fabiano Farah as saying.

Baptista is a free agent after ending an 18-month spell with Brazil's Cruzeiro earlier this month.

He is currently training in Spain, where his family is on holiday, the portal said.

Baptista, who began his career as a defensive midfielder with Sao Paulo in 2000, had spells with Sevilla, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Roma and Malaga before joining Cruzeiro.

He has also been capped 47 times for Brazil, last playing for his country at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
