Mercedes Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix, while German teammate and leader of the 2016 Driver Standings Nico Rosberg came in second at the Silverstone Circuit here on Sunday.
This is the 47th victory in Hamilton's professional career, as he managed to reduce points' difference with world F1 leader Rosberg to only four points, reports Efe.
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen claimed the thiird position, while his Australian team-mate Daniel Ricciardo held the fourth place.
The pair was followed by the Finnish Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari), Mexico's Sergio Perez (Force India), Germany's Nico Hulkenberg (Force India), Spain's Carlos Sainz (Toro Rosso), the German Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) and Russia's Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso).
